The academy is a comprehensive self-paced study program of Rotary information—designed for new and experienced Rotarians.  It begins with an interactive October Kick-off where you will learn how to use the easy online system you must be registered and will be personally notified about the specific date, time and location.  Technical assistance is available throughout the academy year!

All lessons will be completed by the end of May 2014 with a June celebration Graduation Dinner at a fabulous local restaurant.  Many participants complete the program within two to three months—you can work individually at your own pace or partner with other enrollees.

All Rotarians are welcome to enroll.  Interested, committed instructors will guide you through the correspondence courses which consist of seven lessons and a final essay.  Topics are:  District Policies and Procedures, RI History and Club Administration, Membership, International Service Projects, Community/Vocational Service Projects, Rotary Foundation, Public Relations and an Essay on the topic of your choice.

Formerly enrolled participants will be given credit for completed lessons and can enroll at a reduced rate.

As a Rotary Academy student, you will be provided with all instructional material and given the opportunity to apply your new knowledge in a thoughtful way by learning best practices and gaining new ideas for yourself and your club.

The Rotary Academy was founded in 2000 by Past District Governors Dick Clark and Jim Hathaway.  Nearly 300 Rotarians have completed the academy.  Join this esteemed group—enroll by October 15, 2013!The curriculum and lesson assignments are improved every year making 2013-2014 one of the best learning opportunities for members and club leaders.
